Medication-ASSisted weight loss

Struggling with weight management can be challenging, and we understand that a comprehensive approach is often needed to achieve lasting results.

Our clinic offers Medication-Assisted Weight Loss as a safe and effective option for individuals who have been struggling with obesity or weight-related health issues.

Medication-Assisted Weight Loss involves the use of prescription medications, carefully selected and tailored to each patient's unique needs, to enhance the effectiveness of a well-rounded weight loss plan.

These medications work in various ways to help individuals achieve their weight loss goals by suppressing appetite, increasing metabolism, or reducing the absorption of dietary fats.

It's important to note that Medication-Assisted Weight Loss is not a standalone solution. Instead, it is integrated into a holistic weight management program that includes dietary guidance, physical activity recommendations, and ongoing medical supervision.

The following medications may be prescribed based on the diagnosis:

  • Semaglutide (Wegovy; Ozempic and Rybelsus)
  • Orlistat (Xenical)
  • Qsymia
  • Belviq
  • Contrave
  • Liraglutide (Saxenda, Victoza)
  • Phentermine (Fastin, Adipex)
