Dr. Osei-Tutu completed his Pre-Med Studies at Brown University in Providence, RI in 1979 and earned his Doctor of Medicine Degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1984.
He completed his Internship in Internal Medicine at Cooper University Medical Center, Camden, NJ in 1985 and his Residency in Internal Medicine at New York Medical College/Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, NY in 1987.
He was in Private Practice in Brooklyn, NY from 1987 through 1993: In addition to this he worked as an Emergency Room Physician at Interfaith Medical Center- St John’s Division in 1993.
From 1993 to 1995, Dr Osei-Tutu was on Staff at Southcoast Hospital in Wareham, MA.
His Practice Experience has taken him across the breath of the country, having worked as Staff Internist at the Cass Lake Indian Hospital in Cass Lake, Minnesota; the Humana/Jewish Medical Center in Lexington Kentucky; as the Medical Director of two Massachusetts prisons from 1998-2005 and being on Staff at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis, Massachusetts in 2005.
From 2006-2009, Dr Osei-Tutu was on Staff at the Alexandria VA Medical Center, Louisiana and several northern California medical centers, including the Northbay Medical Center and its affiliated Vaca Valley Hospital in Fairfield and Vaca Valley, CA respectively.
He returned to Brooklyn and re-established a private Internal Medicine Practice from 2009. From 2011 to present, he opened a solo Internal and Addiction Medicine Practice in New Jersey.
